My account security checklist for War Thunder. What am I missing?
Closed thread Closed by archiveQuick account security question.
If someone thinks their game account has been accessed by another person, what's the proper order of things to do?
I'm thinking password changes, checking the linked email, and contacting support if anything looks wrong. Anything else worth doing?
Also, are those websites offering free currency or account rewards ever worth trusting? Some of them look pretty convincing.

Use a unique password and enable any security features officially supported by the account provider.
Free rewards websites that ask for your login credentials are a massive red flag.
Check for unfamiliar account activity if the service provides that information, and contact official support if you can't secure the account.
Would you uninstall the game if you think the account was accessed?
Not automatically. First focus on securing the account and checking your device if there's a reason to suspect malware. Reinstalling the game alone won't fix stolen credentials.
